I just realized that I already wrote about this a while ago . . . . so you know, I REALLY LIKE THIS PHOTOGRAPH! 😁

I lived in Florence for a while years ago, just blocks away from this magnificent structure! You have really captured the beauty of it that I appreciated so much walking by it everyday! . . .fv

Thank you so much, Karen! I truly appreciate it and love it that you commented again. We live 40 miles/2 hours into the mountains, East, from Firenze, 13 years now, and we'll always live here.We were married in a church on the Armo by Ponte Vecchio. Who'd have thought that after Massachusetts and the Rocky Mountains I'd find Paradise right here. Your comments mean a lot. Thank you!

Many times you see the Duomo from afar surrounded by Firenze . . . that is impressive! But seeing the intricate detail close-up like this truly reveals its beauty! Such a special place on earth! . . . .vf

Yes! Thank you! How does one photograph something that is being photographed thousands of times a day... This shot is from an afternoon when I just walked around paying a lot more attention than usual to the details. It really is a Renaissance masterpiece .
